David Weaver has built a number of major commercial real estate projects in Miami and served as the City of Miami’s Assistant City manager responsible for developing Miami’s Bayside Specialty Retail Center with the Rouse Company. A leader in many community activities, he chaired the Miami Parking Authority, the New World Center Action Committee (Miami’s “Committee of One Hundred”) and twice led Miami’s successful efforts to keep Homestead Air Force Base from being closed by the U.S. Congress’ Base Closure Commission (BRAC).

As a founder of BW Energy in the mid 1990’s, Weaver led that company’s acquisition of generation capacity in New York City and its participation as a finalist in five New England power plant divestiture auctions. He later co-founded WebGen Systems, Inc., a recognized industry pioneer in the real time deployment of web-based energy management software, and served as its Chairman until 2004. In 2007, Weaver’s Intercap Capital Partners, LLC purchased intellectual property and other assets associated with WebGen’s “Intelligent Use of Energy®” System (“IUE”). Intercap holds a U.S. patent for IUE™ and is now deploying the System in the United States and also in China in conjunction with a major international utility.

Active in higher education, Weaver served as co-Chairman of the University of Miami’s late-1980’s $530 million capital campaign; was Chairman of the University’s Finance & Audit Committee for six years and, until 2005, was the University’s elected Vice-Chairman. He was recently elected University Senior Trustee and was named Chairman of the Board of the Miami Asset Management Corporation (MAMCO). Weaver is the Chairman of the Board of the University of California’s Institute of the Americas. He has also served on the boards of the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and the Young Presidents Organization. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Weaver received his undergraduate and MBA degrees from Harvard University.

Bob Trask serves as the Director of Operations for Intercap Energy Systems. Prior to joining Intercap Energy Systems, Mr. Trask was a Vice President of WebGen Systems and was responsible for the development and deployment of strategic facilities management solutions, including the design and application of technology solutions that save energy, increase the productivity of operational staff, and optimize the performance of building infrastructure systems. Mr.Trask graduated cum laude with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and received his MBA in Business Administration from Babson College. Mr. Trask is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).

Keith Lehman has held senior technical management positions at public and private companies since 1992. In 2002, Mr. Lehman first focused on the intersection of IT and Green Business, working at WebGen System,s where he developed an award winning SaaSenergy management application. Currently, Mr. Lehman provides a range of technical services that continuously enhance the artificial intelligence capabilities of Intercap’s IUE™ system. Past roles include Chairman and CTO for Ledge Multimedia, a firm that Mr. Lehman founded and then sold to Dataware Technologies, CKO for Leading Side, and Director of Engineering/Chief Architect for WebGenSystems.

He has led teams that built award winning consumer and enterprise applications, including the National Geographic Complete, and WebGen System’s Intelligent Energy Management product.

Mr. Lehman has degrees from Tufts University in Engineering Science, Mathematics, and Physics.

Andres Weaver

Andres Weaver has twelve years of experience in commercial real estate investment and development. As founder and managing member of Acadia Capital in 2000, Weaver has served both as a principal and consultant focusing on the entitlement and disposition of mixed use and residential developments and natural resource/alternative energy properties. Mr. Weaver acted as a project partner for Vision Investment & Development, conducting risk assessment and negotiating the acquisition of properties.

Weaver is an active private investor working with portfolio companies in the green building and building product safety industries, including serving on the Board of Directors of Intumescent Technologies. Mr. Weaver is a graduate of Colorado College and the Wharton Private Wealth Management Program in Professional Development Education with CCIM and Urban Land Institute.

JR Powers-Luhn, Director of Project Development

JR Powers-Luhn served as a Submarine and Nuclear Power officer in the U.S. Navy, most recently in Japan as Aide-de-Camp to Commander, Submarine Group 7. There he worked extensively with representatives from several Asian governments to advise and coordinate submarine operations and exercises throughout the Pacific and Middle East. Earlier, he served in the Engineering and Operations departments of the USS CHARLOTTE and USS HYMAN G. RICKOVER, where he developed tools that streamlined mission reporting procedures, saving over 1,200 man hours.

JR studied Physics at the University of Virginia.
